Here is a link to the blog for an exciting project I am involved with as an animator, working with a great group of people to pull together what I’m sure will be a fascinating account of James Hutton!
This is a very special film! Getting creative with some folk, we created this short 2 min film about cycling in Edinburgh for the National Cycling Network film competition (under 10 category!)
This film, made at the beginning of the year, was the second time this project had been done. Working with a group of 6 children on the autistic spectrum, myself and 2 other artists – Eva Reily and Conrad Ivitsky – produced this animation. Over the course of 10 weeks we headed down to Holyrood Park in Edinburgh, and worked with a team of Park Rangers to teach the children all about the wonders of Arthers Seat. Each morning we would clamber up and around the hill learning new things, and in the afternoon we did art and music work inspired by the mornings events. Crazy and exciting reactions were had, culminating in a film that is as mad as the children!
